Which of your soup choices are vegetarian?
Currently, Cream of Tomato is our only vegetarian soup.
Do you have a soup calendar or schedule?
There is no set schedule for soup--you are always welcome to phone the location nearest you to inquire if we’re offering your favorite soup today.
Why did you name the restaurant Mustard?
Leading sandwichologists (sandwich experts) say that 61 percent of a sandwich’s flavor comes from the mustard, making Mustard a very logical and appealing name choice. The Mustard name also serves as a continual reminder to us to keep our attention focused on every single detail of how a perfect sandwich comes together—everything from the cheeses to the bread, and from the meats to the mustard. That’s why a Mustard Café sandwich just tastes better.

What are the hours of operation for Mustard Café restaurants?
Mustard Café locations have slightly differing hours of operation. We are generally open weekdays, 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.; weekends, 8 a.m. to 9 p.m., but please contact the location nearest you to confirm. See the Contact Us page for addresses and phone numbers of all Mustard Café restaurants.
Do you have nutritional information for the items on your menu?
Not quite yet. However, we plan to provide this information to you soon.
When will you open a location near my home/office?
We are currently making plans to expand throughout California, so we may have a store open near you soon. If you have a specific site location in mind, please let us know. Submit a site now!
Are your dressings available for purchase?
Yes. To buy dressing, please phone the location nearest you to place your order and schedule a pickup. Dressing is available in 8 oz. or 16 oz. containers. Remember, we make our dressings fresh daily and they contain no preservatives, so we recommend you purchase no larger a container of dressing than you can use up within three days. At this time, bottled dressings are not available.
You know the menu better than I do. What do you recommend?
Try tuna added to an apple pecan salad, or order mozzarella, basil, tomato on toasted ciabatta with olive oil, salt and pepper. Three-cheese panini dipped in cream of tomato soup is divine. And our Turkey Melt is a real crowd pleaser. Remember, if you don’t like what you’ve ordered, let us know so we can make you something else!

How many sandwiches do I need to serve my group?
Because of our hearty portion sizes, we recommend ¾ of a sandwich per person for most functions. Let us know who you’re feeding and what type of event you are planning and we can recommend adjustments to increase/decrease the quantities accordingly.
Does Mustard offer breakfast catering?
We have a distinctive selection of breakfast offerings, ranging from continental items to egg-and-cheese croissants or bagel sandwiches. We offer Illy brand coffee, our famous fruit salad, and our breakfast pastries are delicious.
What is your minimum for delivery orders?
Delivery minimum is $50. Please call at least 24 hours in advance to place your order and secure your preferred delivery-time window.
Does Mustard offer Wi-Fi internet access?
Yes, Wi-Fi internet access is offered at most Mustard Café locations.
Are gift certificates available?
Yes, ask for gift certificates at your local Mustard Café location. Gift certificates are available for sale at all locations, and they are redeemable at any location. They make a great thank you or birthday gift for someone at the office, and are always a big hit during the holidays.
